Built on the site of the original Atlanta Naval Air Station, this Epps Aviation building needed to match the existing barrel roof of the older hangars. The radius beams were no problem for the Vulcan Steel Structures engineering team.

Baer Air Charter’s 24,500-sq-ft metal building hangar at Melbourne International Airport features massive 28-ft-tall doors.

Baer Air Charter tripled its size at the Melbourne International Airport with this 140′ x 175′ clear span building.

At Danville Hangar, the metal building’s hydraulic front door lifts to reveal an entertaining and airplane storage area.

Things are not always as they seem, and that’s the case with this hangar building. Retired general contractor Dan decided he needed a place to entertain and store his plane. Affectionally known as Danville, this unique structure with a special door and attached porch boasts over 3,000 square feet.

At Georgia’s Peach State Aerodrome, the gambrel-roofed metal building hangar houses a restaurant and a museum.

Williamson, GA

Peach State Aerodrome is a public/private airport in Williamson, GA.  It has a gambrel roof hangar and is home to the Barnstormer’s Grill & Event Center and the Candler Field Museum. The roof is 26-gauge Galvalume PBR panel and the walls are 26-gauge Standard Color PBR.  The building is 100 feet x 100 feet with two 30-foot x 100-foot lean-to buildings.

This 200-ft clear span hangar is one of several metal building systems housing airplanes at Stuart Jet Center in Florida.

Stuart Jet Center is located at the Witham Field airport in Stuart, FL. This hangar is a 200-foot clear span that is 130 feet long with a 34-foot eave height. It features a 190-foot x 28-foot bi-parting sliding hangar door.

Cape Fear Regional Jetport

Oak Island, NC

The newest hangar addition of the Cape Fear Regional Jetport is a gable building measuring 130’ x 70’ x 20′ with a 24 gauge Galvalume PBR Roof and 24 gauge standard color PBR Walls. The interior of the building has 8’ PBR liner through out and includes one 70’ longitudinal partition.

Private Hangar

Apopka, FL

This private hangar is located at the Orlando Apopka Airport, a privately-owned, condominium airport which is open to the public. It measures 104’ x 50’ with a 21’ eave height and a 2/12’’ roof slope. The roof is a 26-gauge Galvalume PBR roof panel with 26-gauge standard color PBR walls. The hangar door is 70’ x 16’ square.
